From the internal elements to the external coating OMAS MOTOR’s mufflers
are entirely realized in aluminised steel, particularly resistant to corrosion and
high-temperatures. The high thermal conductivity of this material, which allows
a better heat transmission to the whole surface, produces also a higher reduction
of exhaust smokes in comparison with the traditional iron.
The mufflers are realized through the so-called cold forming technique, that
highly reduces the presence of external welds and resulting breaking points,
thus guaranteeing a better resistance to wear and vibrations at the same time.
Starting from 15 preformed modules the company is able to produce up to 70
different types of mufflers.
Internally they present a double body (two elements), where each body acts
on the fluid mechanics of the exhaust system, both as a dissipating silencer
through the action of the perforated elements, and as reactive silencer, thanks
to the deviation of the gas path.
The optimized performance is reached with the absence of vents in the joining
points: obtained through specific devices and bayonet couplings, fastened
with special clamps of our design, it represents one of the strengths of our
products.
All mufflers are proposed in a standard and a silenced version to obtain a further
noise reduction. Our technical department will work out the most suitable
solution in case of specific customer needs, by customizing the product until
the ideal result is gained.
The production includes 2 standard types of layout, which are however highly
customizable based on various applications.
